Jacinda

Jacinda is the sole proprietor the Nathalia Kennels and Cattery – a natural and successful succession.  Jacinda has the same values, care and love for all the dogs and cats that come under her care.
Organizing the dog play groups take a lot of skill and careful observation - Jacinda really excels in her role here. Jacinda is also responsible for the meds sheets and anything else that isn't routine.
Jacinda’s infectious enthusiasm certainly helped us win the local 2009 Small Business Award and the 2010 Powercor Business Excellence Award
Jacinda successfully completed her traineeship in Companion Animal Studies at Wangaratta TAFE - plus doing Animal Studies through her VCAL year. Jacinda was awarded the regional apprentice of the year in 2006. Prior to starting her TAFE studies. Jacinda completed a grooming course at Box Hill TAFE – though grooming these days is contracted out to local groomers.
Jacinda has a cat called “Delta” and three adored dogs, Indie (pictured), Moira the whippet x staffy she adopted and Sophie (pictured with Holly) - they come to work each day and are part of the meet and greet crew.

Madeleine

Madeleine

Madeleine has always had cats and dogs as part of her family since childhood. The kennels started in 2000.
It was Madeleine’s vision to create a boarding environment where all the dogs can be out of their pens during the day – in social groups to run and be free. The cattery is small in numbers – but large on space for each cat.
From the quality of the food to the blankets – all the comforts for your dog or cat are met.
Madeleine’s cat is Oscar the Burmilla and the dogs are Josie (Kelpie cross Poodle), Monty (Old GR) and Ben (pictured).
Maddy’s main job these days is in the office and taking care of the deliveries and pickups. There are quite a few trips as far as Melbourne to collect dogs for longer term stays.

Monday to Friday staff

Madeleine

Cedric

Cedric comes in regularly to wash the dishes and do odd jobs around the kennels.

Multi-talented Kellie will tackle any given task with enthusiasm and dedication.
Kel has two cats, Simba and Charles. Brock and Max (pictured) are her two dogs. Brock was being fostered by the kennels and now is Kellie's dog.

Madeleine

Tanya

Tanya is one of the greatest additions to the team – her attention to detail is much appreciated.
Tanya works 5 mornings a week and is the Saturday person in charge.
Tanya can get even the shyest dog to become outgoing and confident.
Her 3 dogs are Ben the Maremma, Cody the Chihuahua (pictured) and Macy who she adopted from our kennels. Tanya’s cat is Melise.
Tanya has a BIG HEART when it comes to looking after the waifs and strays (of the 4 legged variety)
After making sure the sleeping quarters are 110% to her satisfaction - Tanya loves to make sure the surrounds are looking good – amazingly energetic and very generous with her time and care.
